Safe filling : guaranteed protection of the personnel

The BAUER “RCSI” has proven many times the most effective protection against a flexible hose burst or even a breathing air cylinder explosion (please refer to “certification”).

We are guaranteeing the most effective protection during the filling process and afterwards:

Only after the complete closing of the front protection the RCSI allows filling.

Opening of the front protection only possible after rest pressure reducing.

Independant certification

Several heavy burst tests have proven the total security of the filling personnel. One burst test combined a breathing air cylinder explosion at 180 bar and then (on the same unit after the first explosion) at 280 bar with very good success.

An independant French test institute (”Socotec Industries”) is emphasizing that even in case of breathing air cylinder explosion (worst case) the filling personnel is not in physical danger at any moment.

The BAUER “RCSI” is the only existing safe fill panel in Europe which is by this certification steps ahead and meeting the very strict legal regulations of the French labour security.

Optional : Speed limitation of the filling process

Electronic-pneumatic control which is limiting the speed of filling, example : 50 bar/ minute following your specific country legal regulations. The value of the limitation must be chosen at the order and can then be modified only by the BAUER after-sales-service = customer legal security.

The speed limitation is based on an intelligent proportional valve technology in relation of the rest pressure inside the breathing air cylinder.

Optional : Documentation of the filling data

We are offering a innovative, SPS- controlled, system to control and document the data of every filling process. Analysis can then be done through the interface via an external PC.

Documentation of every filling process per identified cylinder (identification number ; date ; rest pressure ; final pressure and others).

Automatic Recognition of an identified cylinder by transponder.

Interdict of filling in case of expiry of the cylinder’s official admission date.

Registration of the filling data and export of data.

Easy and intuitive to use, integrated in complete system.

Complete system, including hand held digital- scanner and -reader.
