The KAP 5, the open compressor unit of the VERTICUS 5 modular system, combines leading-edge compressor technology with top quality "Made in Germany". With little efforts the new KAP can simply be upgraded to a silenced VERTICUS 5 within little time.
Powerful and Expandable
The modular system allows a custom-tailored compressor unit acc. to individual requirements and guarantees a simple upgrading such as larger or additional filter housings, SECURUS filter monitoring, external filling panels, storage systems and others.
Long-Life and Extremely Reliable
The new blocks offer up to 8% more F.A.D., i.e. up to
680 l/min for the top model, whereas the weight was
reduced by 10%!
The extended product range offers now units with
370 l/min and 450 l/min.
Piston rings made of a newly developed high-tech synthetic
material and plasma-nitrided cylinders show almost no
wear and tear. The industrial roller bearings will last for
more than 30.000 operating hours.
The new low pressure
lubricating system with oil micro filter considerably increases the
lifetime of all moving parts.
Improved corrosion resistance
due to inter- and aftercoolers made of stainless steel.
Every Thing under control
The B-CONTROL (SPC-Control) allows free programming
acc. to customer´s needs. Operating convenience due
to big 8-line LCD-display and free choice of languages
(7 languages).
Optional: Interconnected operation of several units
is possible.
Always "Up To Date" due to Online Linkage
The B-MESSENGER (optional) informs the operator via SMS on the mobile phone or pager or fax about all relevant compressor data, e.g. forthcoming maintenance work or filter change.
Silent and Clean Condensate Disposal
The SSC-condensate collecting tank with sound-proofed special filter supplies odorless exhaust air.
