BAUER Kompressoren GmbH at HANNOVER MESSE 2007

A jump on the bandwagon

The total attendance figures of over 230,000 visitors - up more than 10 percent on the last directly comparable year, 2005 - was an outstanding result for HANNOVER MESSE. Attendance from Germany was up 12 percent, with the volume of visitors from outside Germany up eight percent.

Also the company BAUER Kompressoren GmbH, which has experience in exhibiting there for many years right now, had a very successful week: 66 percent more visitors than two years ago - nearly 20 percent more international and 200 percent more national prospects! This means not only a huge visitor record, but also a lot of business transactions. The main interest of the prospects, mostly distributors and endusers, concerned the air- and nitrogen-compressors, but also the Helium-, CNG-, Hydrogen- and Mixed Gas-Compressors were enquired very often.

Our innovative prosperous models

A special feature of BAUER Kompressoren's customized PLC B-CONTROL is the B-Messenger: Beside the transfer of disturbance-, operating-data and service intervals, it provides also the possibility of long-distance-up-dates and direct dial-ins into the electronic compressor control. Another innovation is the "Visualisation B-Remote": It provides an insight into the complete process flow, shown on the monitor, and enables you to operate the machine.
7 years ago the B-CONTROL was used first. Nowadays it runs and monitors ten thousands of compressors in single action or interconnection operation (master-slave-principle). Always enhanced, this PLC provides easiest operability on a clearly arranged control panel.

The latest BAUER-Booster BGIB 12.3 demonstrates an attractive and competitive compressor solution for the medium pressure market. Nitrogen or air is compressed, depending on the inlet pressure, up to a final pressure of 15 - 50 bar and provides a delivery volume of max. 2000 l/min.
Since April 2005 a well known French manufacturer of rocket engines has operated the first BGIB 12.3-7,5-5 for more than 2300 operating hours. They are completely content with the performance of the booster for filling autoclaves.
This little booster-compressor is available mounted in a mobile crash frame or the Super Silent housing of the Verticus 5.

This year BAUER Kompressoren GmbH is pleased to introduce a medium pressure version of the BK24 for boosting Air and Nitrogen to 50 bar. The modular design of the BK24 series enables a variety of possible configurations. The series is available with 2-, 3- or 4-stages of compression with inlet pressures ranging from atmospheric pressure to 17 bar. Capacities of up to 4000 l/min are possible depending upon inlet and discharge pressures. This series is highly adaptable to a customer's specific requirements for compressing or boosting Air and Nitrogen to 50 bar or to 350 bar in the high pressure version. The model on display is powered by a direct coupled 75 kW electric motor and is shown packaged with BAUER'S proprietary B-CONTROL compressor controller.

Another innovation the MINI-VERTICUS III, which is characterized by its small compact super silent construction and its brand-new design. It is predestinated for many industry applications: Developed from the MINI-VERTICUS II, this competitive compressor can be used in the fields of medium- and high-pressure or as a booster for nitrogen and air. As well as the big compressors this small one is also a high-quality product and thus utilizable for non-stop operation, it has a user friendly design and is equipped with a full- or semi-automatic PLC (B-CONTROL) and a complete P-Filtersystem. The delivery volume is between 85 and 1550 l/min. Also very convenient is the possibility of an extended base frame, which is made for one or two storage bottles.

A special highlight for our guests and in traditional costumes dressed employees was the Bavarian evening on the BAUER-Booth: Freshly pressed beer out of the VERTICUS-Beer-Compressor and a lot of other Bavarian tidbits like liver loaf, pretzels and much more, made a hearty mood accompanied with Bavarian folk music. As well in two years our guests won´t have to forego this event and are heartily invited to come again!
