OCEANUS on big tour

Those who go on an expedition lasting for one year to the Middle East in order to examine the conditions of the reefs like Helen and Richard Brain, need robust and reliable material: a Range Rover and a BAUER Oceanus diving compressor.

At the beginning of September 2002 Helen and Richard Brain were rolling off the BAUER Kompressoren forecourt with their Range Rover for a year long exciting expedition to Lebanon, Syria, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan and India.

On board: The reliable and expedition-proof OCEANUS diving compressor with stainless steel components made by BAUER. Because the success of the expedition depends very much on the safe supply of breathing air even under the toughest climatic conditions.

The target of the expedition: A review of the condition of the reefs in the Red Sea and in the Indian Ocean for the globally operating REEF CHECK FOUNDATION.

Universities at site such as the Sultan Quaboos University of Oman are to remind the people of the urgent necessity for submarine world protection by means of lectures and diving workshops.

Within the bounds of a unique school project the pupils of the Kaimhill Primary School in Aberdeen/Scottland will follow up the expedition via internet and email-contact and will then process the collected information in workshops forming part of the normal classes. The expedition can be followed up via internet under www.oceannomad.com.
