Pure Air Gains Significance
Interest in BAUER's "Pure Air Certification" picks up.
Air quality has become a decisive factor when divers choose a filling station. Regular service intervals and air quality checks ensure that breathing air conforms to BAUER's quality standard.
Two additional dive centres have obtained BAUER's Pure Air Certification: the new Dive Center Esslingen is ground breaking with regards to the optics and the air quality. The Dive School Zollernalb has also been certified.
State of the art testing apparatus is employed when the Pure Air Certification is issued. A special on site testing unit has been developed by BAUER's Quality Testing Department.
Using a laptop the quality engineer, Mr. Renner, checks whether the residual amount of water vapour, CO and CO2 in the compressed air conforms to the DIN EN 12021 / EN 12021 standard. Simultaneously the CO/CO2 level at the air inlet are determined.
The positioning of the unit in the compressor room and fresh air supply are important criteria for an optimal air supply. Maintenance records that document the use of certified oils and genuine BAUER filter cartridges are also looked into. The saturation of the filter cartridge with water vapour must be determined online with the SECURUS testing device. Also, the certified Pure Air centre undertakes that it contracts regular air quality tests.
Distributors and dive centres that fulfil these criteria can apply for a Pure Air Certificate. Your contact at BAUER KOMPRESSOREN is Mr. Kruse, Sales Breathing Air, Telephone +49 (0) 89 78049-138.
The Pure Air Certificate is valid for one calendar year.
